TreeHouse Foods Announces New
President of Bay Valley Foods Unit
CHICAGO, August 24, 2005 - TreeHouse Foods, Inc. (NYSE:THS) announced
today that effective August 29th Joe Coning will become President of its
Bay Valley Foods unit headquartered in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Coning replaces
the long time President of Bay Valley Foods, Jim Greisinger, who was elected
by the TreeHouse Board of Directors as a Senior Vice President of TreeHouse.
In his new position Jim Greisinger will focus primarily on acquisitions.

Coning has a 34 year history in the food industry with extensive private
label, industrial and contract packing experience. Most recently he was
with the Kellogg Company as Vice President of Contract Packing and Custom
Sales and prior to that President of Kellogg’s Bake Line Products
business unit. Before joining Kellogg he was President of Mondo Baking,
a Georgia-based snack food manufacturer.
