Except as provided below, we do not sell, trade or rent your personally identifiable information collected on the Website to others. TreeHouse may disclose personally identifiable information as follows: (a) to our subsidiaries and affiliates; (b) to our third party service providers, vendors, and consultants providing services on our behalf to the extent necessary in order to provide services on our behalf (for example, parties that support our Website); (c) in order to enhance your experience on our Website; (d) if we believe that there has been a violation of our Terms and Conditions, any of our intellectual property or other rights of any third party; (e) in order to respond to a subpoena, court order or other such request; (f) in response to a law enforcement agency's request or as otherwise required by law; and (g) as otherwise described to you at the point of collection.
You can opt-out of receiving interest-based ads from third parties who are members of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) or who follow the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising by visiting the opt-out pages on the NAI website and DAA website. Other websites where you see our ads, such as Facebook, may use interest preferences that you have chosen on those sites, as well as registration and other information about you, to choose which ads to display to you. There is currently no common industry or legal standard for interpreting Do Not Track (“DNT”) signals sent from browsers. Therefore, our Website currently does not recognize if your browser sends a DNT signal or similar mechanism to indicate you do not wish to be tracked across websites.
Please be aware that the Website may contain links to other sites on the Internet that are owned and operated by third parties. This includes links to our third-party service provider that operates and manages the Careers portion of our Website. TreeHouse takes appropriate steps to ensure data privacy and security including through various hardware and software methodologies, and appropriate means among which access protection by passwords from each device (also in accordance with U.S. Sarbanes-Oxley Act 2002 requirements). However, TreeHouse cannot guarantee the security of any information that is disclosed online. There is no guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by a breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial security measures. Please note that emails and other communications you send to us through our Website are not encrypted, and we strongly advise you not to communicate any confidential information through these means.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information transmitted to our Website. Any transmission of Personal Information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Website.

For purposes of this California Notice, “Personal Information” has the meaning provided by the CCPA and does not include information that is publicly available, that is deidentified or aggregated such that it is not capable of being associated with you, or that is excluded from the CCPA’s scope.

What We Do: While we collect, process, and share your information for purposes described in this policy, which include “business purposes” under the CCPA; we do not currently “sell” Personal Information as most people would typically understand that term. However, we do allow certain third-party advertising partners to collect information about the users of our Website for the purposes of serving ads that are more relevant, for ad campaign measurement and analytics, and for fraud detection and reporting. This activity can be considered a “sale” under California law.
You have the right to opt out of the “sale” of your Personal Information. Such requests may be submitted by following the “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” link at the bottom of the page, or in the settings menu in the App. You may also exercise your rights using the mechanisms described in the Interest Based Advertising section of this Policy above.
You also have the right to be free of discrimination for exercising these rights. However, please note that if the exercise of these rights limits our ability to process Personal Information, for example, if you submit a deletion request, we may no longer be able to provide you our products and services or engage with you in the same manner.

We will need to verify your identity before processing your request, which may require us to request additional Personal Information from you or require you to log into your account, if you have one. To do so please be prepared for your agent to provide a signed permission to do so, to verify their own identity with us, and to directly confirm with us that you provided the agent permission to submit the request.
California’s “Shine the Light” Law. California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code Section §1798.83) provides certain rights to California residents that have an established business relationship with us with regard to the disclosure of certain types of Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
